HELLO!! =D its been 3 weeks since the blog was last updated and almost a mth since our last outing! 7th march wasn't counted =S haha but it won't be long before we see each other again! 2 more days to the long-awaited yltc campfire and i'm sure the pop-ed guys (congrats!) are really excited to tryout the new nursery rhymes and classical poems they've just picked up from the army on the jnrs.

anw, here's a tiny peek into yl on day 2...


trainees doing pioneering. quite a spectecular structure compared to ours. at least it was intended to be. they have quite a big batch - 41. each grp has arnd 6-9 pple. think they're gonna have a hard time when it comes to downsizing. but overall they're quite an enthu bunch. and efficient, from what the jnrs told us.

the familiar ops room. surprisingly they had more pple playing poker than mugging. guess we were quite hardworking afterall, though i'm quite dubious of how much content actually went into our brains. oh and no worries that the instructors are underfed. just look at the spread of snacks on their tables. they had so much food shixian was generous enough to offer us a box of honeystars each. (hmm though the expiry date stated 31/12/2007)

ultimately, every yl brings tgt a grp of strangers and forges long lasting friendships. but every batch is uniquely characterized and i think i would never experience a better yl without the 32nd (:
